A majority of user requests are handled by a remote service desk and on-site support is often neglected. CORA is an intelligent hardware dispensing system. No waiting for notebooks, desktops, screens, smartphones and accessories of all kinds: CORA provides them quickly and easily to affected users by means of a generated code. In this function CORA acts as an extended arm of the service desk and thus significantly reduces the pressure on the field support team on site.
When developing CORA, great emphasis was placed on the hardware right from the start. Thanks to Wake-On-LAN (WOL) and connection to customer-specific software distribution tools, IT devices within CORA can be constantly updated and, in case of support, personalised to the user (software packages, profiles and settings).
The heart of CORA is the software. Excellent digital user experience within the device and perfect service experience required a software architecture that allow any CORA to be maintained both remotely and around the clock. Thanks to an open API, CORA can also be integrated into and adapted to existing IT system landscapes.
Open Source Technologies
The frontend of CORA is developed using open source technologies and is operated in the cloud. State-of-the-art server technologies and developer tools also ensure efficient and smooth processes.
Chat Bot Technology
In order for CORA to provide excellent service experience to users, a chat bot is able to give advice at every point. Through the use of artificial intelligence (AI), strain on the service organisation can also be relieved.
Digital Experience Design
The CORA software can be customised in terms of look and feel according to the corporate design specifications of any organisation (logo, colours, fonts and images from current campaigns).
White Label Options
The upper light panel of the CORA hardware can also be customised and labeled according to the corporate design specifications of an organisation.
During the development process, great value was placed on user testings. Direct feedback from end users made improvements possible very early in the project and led to quick decision taking in favour of the product.
CORA hardware and software are 100% manufactured in Switzerland. In doing so, emphasis is placed on quality, functionality and design. The hardware is made of high quality materials and its dimensions fit a Euro pallet. In this way, it is suitable for any conventional passenger elevator and thanks to the integrated chassis it remains mobile at all times.
CORA wins Innovation Award
In November 2017, CORA won the first price in the innovation category at the Golden Headset Awards in Zurich. At that time, the product was still in development.
